A full day’s training for all individuals working with children, young people and adults at risk, including Ministers and Elders of the church.

The course (Foundation and Intermediate) covers:

• Policy and Procedures
• Legal, Statutory and URC expectations for Elders/Trustees
• Risk management (including planning for on-site, off-site and online)
• Safer Recruitment
• Roles and responsibilities, support and accountability
• Types of Abuse
• Recognising and responding to concern (the 4 Rs)
• Building a healthy safeguarding culture
• Exploring Contextual Safeguarding

Certificates are presented to those completing this training course.
