The Lunar New Year, which fell in late January this year, is an important festival for all overseas Chinese. Abundant Ministry held a celebration not only for overseas Chinese but also for our British brothers and sisters in Christ.

We sang songs in both Chinese and English, played games together, and shared our traditional “red envelopes” with everyone. Why did we share our traditions and happiness with others? Because we believe God brought many overseas Chinese to the UK not to be served, but to serve this country and its community. We hope that as overseas Chinese, we can contribute to this land and share our joy with everyone here.

As Jesus said:
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10, KJV)

The goal of Abundant Ministry is to follow Jesus’ example. We hope that everyone can experience life more abundantly, just as God has brought us to this land for a purpose.
