This is a bespoke intermediate safeguarding training course aimed at local church elders. The pre-course expectation is that everyone will have completed the eLearning foundation safeguarding course. This intermediate training course will cover: The difference between adult and children safeguarding How to develop a safeguarding culture within your church Develop your understanding of the role and responsibilities that elders have within the church Support your understanding of the URC safeguarding structure and how this can support you Seek to help you understand the five safeguarding actions outlined by the Charity Commission
